PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

We are looking for a talented sales consultant to market and sell service offerings to contractors and end users of life safety systems including, but not limited to: fire alarm, security, surveillance systems and fire extinguishers. Our ideal candidate should be able to use statistical analysis software and provide reports on sales and marketing metrics. You will collaborate with the sales team and the marketing department to achieve business goals. Ultimately, you should be able to improve sales and increase profits.

  • Generate sales volume higher than quota at acceptable gross margins
  • Establish and maintain contact with existing and new customers by proactively providing exceptional customer service
  • Create and provide estimate and quote for installation and services
  • Negotiate details of contracts and payments
  • Prepare sales contracts and order forms
  • Possess ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with customers & office personnel via phone, email, and face-to-face
  • Provide up-to-date customer information to AR Department for updates in company database to properly service customers in a timely manner
  • Ability to read/decipher engineered drawings or design build systems
  • Deliver presentation of company products to new and existing customers
  • Perform other duties as assigned

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Represent the company in a positive and professional manner
  • Follow company established marketing strategies
  • Identify and establish contact with prospective customers
  • Qualify potential buyers by scheduling sales calls
  • Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for each account
  • Conduct thorough site surveys to support estimate development
  • Develop and maintain a proposal backlog that will ensure meeting sales goals
  • Close sufficient sales to meet assigned sales goal
  • Maintain complete records of all activities
  • Submit all required reports in a timely manner
  • Maintain a professional relationship with all office personnel
  • Perform other duties as directed

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability and desire to learn about fire protection industry
  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • Experience in fire protection industry preferred
  • Intermediate MS Office 365 skills (Outlook/Excel/Word)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate degree in Marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years of successful and user business to business sales experience.
  • Experience in service sales preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to close sales based on value not price
  • Ability to gather and interpret data
  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Communication skills
  • Knowledge and experience working with MS 365, with intermediate Excel skills

COMPENSATION

Base Salary plus commission

TBD based on skill/experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52,000.00 per year
